He is able !

I'm finally making time to write again. Life has been (and is still) busy.
But God has been very good to us. My paid maternity leave ended at the end of October but I decided to step out in faith and take additional leave. Just when I was about to get my last payment, we received the good news that God had provided in hubby's first job in Europe. Praise the Lord. His first payment came the week that my payments stopped. God was not a week too late, but just in time. Glory to His name !

Hubby hasn't done much higher education apart from Security and things like that but when he needed to choose to do a free FAS training , God put on my heart that he needed to go for the Sales and customer care. Because even though he had certificates and experience in Security, for Ireland he has a special language skill because our mother tongue is Dutch and that would increase his chances for work.
I took a look at his cv and emphasised the fact that he did have administrative experience in a former position. And God did the rest. Hallelujah !

Even though it doesn't pay much, it's only a temporary position and he has to travel quite a bit to get there, we are so blessed and so grateful for what the Lord has done !!! Hubby has found a good administrative job, which whill help him to develop himself more and to even be able to get better and better paid jobs in the future.

Please know that what ever it is that you need,God is able to provide in every need. The bible says that God is able to do much more than we can ask or imagine.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine

Ephhesians 3:20

He really is able ! So just step out in faith and stand on His promises and He will provide in your need.

Lord,we glorify You for Who you are. You are wonderful and You love Your people with an everlasting love. There's nothing that You wouldn't do for us as long as we stay in Your will. Help us to be close to You to hear what You have to say and increase our faith in You, so we can believe for great things and Your name will be glorified in Jesus' name. Amen.

Cell group G 12

In our church we have a lot of different cell groups in different areas in and around Dublin.
The women meet together in a cell group and the men meet separately in another cell group. In a cell group you come together to praise and worship, pray together and get encouraged by the word of God. The cell is also a place where you can do something for God and grow in the things of God. You can share with others that what God has given to you.

I go to a cell group close to my house. It’s really on walking distance.
God is really working in our cell group. Most of the time you can really experience Gods presence. Glory to God! The other day we had a salvation during our meeting. What a joy! Afterwards, I was asked to pray for this lady (ofcourse supported in prayer by my sisters) and it was a really great experience because I could really feel Gods power working through me. I really felt the warmth of His Spirit, while I was praying for the Lord to touch her. And the lady said that she felt a funny feeling, which is a sign that the Lord really touched her. Glory to God! Hallelujah! I was so grateful to be used by God and really happy and excited that God is working in our midst.

There are also a lot of testimonies of what God has done through our prayers.
Like healing and so on. Hallelujah!
Really, nothing is impossible for God. The bible says :The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

New International Version :The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Our prayer is accompanied with power. God is still a hearer of prayers. And it’s His mercy that He’s confirming that to us. Prayer really changes things.

We lately started to take turns to lead the praise and worship in our cell.
I find it a great opportunity to practise and it’s something that I love to do.God is good! I love to bring people to the feet of the Lord. I love to bring Gods children in true worship so that the glory of God can come and we can enter into His presence.

Also, I was asked to do the teaching last week. That was really a challenge.
First I was wondering if I could really get it done. I’ve preached before but that was years ago and a teaching is also a little different.
But I felt that I needed to accept the opportunity and God really helped me and put some things in my heart to talk about and gave me the scriptures. Putting the teaching on paper was actually such a blessed experience. Glory to God! And doing it was as well. I still have to get used to doing teachings, but the ladies said that they were encouraged, so praises to God!
Anyway, the bible says that Gods word will not return void, so I can trust God that He has come to a purpose with the teaching. Glory to God !
I was asked to do the same teaching again one time. But I might post it on here as well.

Thank You Lord for using my sisters and I. Thank You for Your mercy. I’m looking forward to all that You’re still going to do in our midst.
We’re full of expectance Lord. Our eyes are upon You. Please keep on manifesting Your glory in our midst .Let our cell be a place where people will get saved, delivered, healed and where anything is possible in Jesus Name.
