Cell group G 12

In our church we have a lot of different cell groups in different areas in and around Dublin.
The women meet together in a cell group and the men meet separately in another cell group. In a cell group you come together to praise and worship, pray together and get encouraged by the word of God. The cell is also a place where you can do something for God and grow in the things of God. You can share with others that what God has given to you.

I go to a cell group close to my house. It’s really on walking distance.
God is really working in our cell group. Most of the time you can really experience Gods presence. Glory to God! The other day we had a salvation during our meeting. What a joy! Afterwards, I was asked to pray for this lady (ofcourse supported in prayer by my sisters) and it was a really great experience because I could really feel Gods power working through me. I really felt the warmth of His Spirit, while I was praying for the Lord to touch her. And the lady said that she felt a funny feeling, which is a sign that the Lord really touched her. Glory to God! Hallelujah! I was so grateful to be used by God and really happy and excited that God is working in our midst.

There are also a lot of testimonies of what God has done through our prayers.
Like healing and so on. Hallelujah!
Really, nothing is impossible for God. The bible says :The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

New International Version :The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Our prayer is accompanied with power. God is still a hearer of prayers. And it’s His mercy that He’s confirming that to us. Prayer really changes things.

We lately started to take turns to lead the praise and worship in our cell.
I find it a great opportunity to practise and it’s something that I love to do.God is good! I love to bring people to the feet of the Lord. I love to bring Gods children in true worship so that the glory of God can come and we can enter into His presence.

Also, I was asked to do the teaching last week. That was really a challenge.
First I was wondering if I could really get it done. I’ve preached before but that was years ago and a teaching is also a little different.
But I felt that I needed to accept the opportunity and God really helped me and put some things in my heart to talk about and gave me the scriptures. Putting the teaching on paper was actually such a blessed experience. Glory to God! And doing it was as well. I still have to get used to doing teachings, but the ladies said that they were encouraged, so praises to God!
Anyway, the bible says that Gods word will not return void, so I can trust God that He has come to a purpose with the teaching. Glory to God !
I was asked to do the same teaching again one time. But I might post it on here as well.

Thank You Lord for using my sisters and I. Thank You for Your mercy. I’m looking forward to all that You’re still going to do in our midst.
We’re full of expectance Lord. Our eyes are upon You. Please keep on manifesting Your glory in our midst .Let our cell be a place where people will get saved, delivered, healed and where anything is possible in Jesus Name.

Priorities

Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not on thy own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

I guess everyone has to deal with priorities.
I, I find it hard sometimes to prioritise.
Because what is it that I find so much more important that it goes before something else? It really goes from what to spend money on to what to do on a certain day.
These are real issues for me because since I’m on maternity leave and hubby still doesn’t have an income, we don’t have so much to spend.
And having a young baby and another young child plus some other activities doesn’t leave me with seas of time either.
I’m actually someone who likes to plan things. I like to write down what I really have to do or want to do a certain day and sometimes I plan how to spend money as well.
But there have been days that I feel kind of nervous because I think: There’s so much that I have to do and I don’t know where to start.

So today I’m trying to prioritise.
I just put my eldest daughter at school and on the way home I was trying to plan the coming hours:

First I would see if my 4 month old baby needed me and then I would clean the living room. After that I’d call the Avon distributor who is supposed to visit me one of these days and then call the bank to apply for an increase on my overdraft.

Those were the things on my top list today.

So as I got in the house I heard the baby cry. She was lying next to her daddy but I really think that he was sleeping. I felt so sad for her. She was really a bit upset.
So I picked her up, cuddled her and apologised for not taking her with me. (My husband left the pram at a friends house because he picked up the kids by car after I dropped them of) and then let her drink. In the meanwhile I started to write this because it ‘s about the only useful thing that I can do while breastfeeding.
She just fell asleep and I put her in the bouncer chair.
So the next thing will be cleaning the living room and most of the time I do that while I’m praying and I lay my plans for today before God and ask Him to guide me and give me strength for the day.

Because the best thing that you can do is prioritise together with God, like the above scripture says. God sees and knows everything and He knows best.

We don't have to stress because the bible says in Isaiah 26:3

Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because He trusted in Thee.

Hallelujah , glory to His name !

I really need to seek God more in this, to make it my own every single day and every moment of the day.
Because christians really should be too blessed to be stressed, amen ?

But to go back to my plans for today so far: After I’ve made the calls I’ll probably clean up my room and then sit to think (and pray) of what else needs to be done.

Somewhere in the day I have to finish preparing the teaching for the cell group for today. I'm praying that God will really help me with this and speak through me this evening.

Well, I hope you’ll have a lovely day today.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and guide you in all that you do in Jesus’ name Amen.
